Mary Corpe

Originally trained at the Bertram School of dancing in Brighton at the age of 3. Her first professional stage appearance was with Dora Bryan and Larry Grayson at the age of 7 in Hello Dolly at the Theatre Royal, Brighton. She then went on to train at the Arts Educational Schools in London Barbican where she was chosen to dance at the Sadlers Wells in an Opera called King Roger.

Having completed her training she joined the dance group, Pans People, who regularly appeared on the BBC programme Top of the Pops. She went on to dance with groups such as the Young Generation, A team and New Edition over a time span of 14 years and even had the pleasure to dance and meet the Queen on a Royal Variety Show at the London Palladium.

Mary has been enjoying choreographing for many years. This [Fiddler on the Roof] is her first time with CYTC and she has enjoyed every minute of it working alongside very talented children.
