Richard Lindfield
I have never dedicated a show to anyone before, but there’s a first time for everything. While working on Les Mis I have been inspired by two people who changed my life forever. Keith Slade ran the drama section at Hangleton Youth Club and his passion for theatre infected every single one of us youngsters. Maggie Claridge was the driving force behind the Centre Players, my first grown-up drama group, and her phenomenal dedication and enthusiasm lives with me still nearly half a century later.
In a previous life as a professional actor I once took my clothes off twice nightly in Oh Calcutta! Now I dote on my two beautiful young boys, Freddie and Henry, teach would-be journalists and read the weekend news on Heart fm.
